Alex Mosquera, known professionally as Intalekz, is a Sydney-based rapper, producer, audio engineer, mastering engineer and AI creator. His work connects recorded music, freestyle performance and cinematic storytelling. Born in Argentina and raised between Australia and New York, he brings a cross-continental perspective to a catalogue extending from Square-1 to Free Agent.

Early life and background

Intalekz was born in Argentina in 1986 and moved to Australia in 1987. In 1996, he moved to New York, returning to Australia in 2000. These places form part of the personal history behind his music and public identity.

He later returned to New York at the age of 20 for a three-month stay, and spent three months in Los Angeles in 2009. New York also shaped his enduring visual style, from Yankees caps to Alpha Industries outerwear and Timberland boots.

Alongside his creative work, Intalekz works full-time. He is a father of two, Aria and Ezio. His faith in God and Jesus is an important part of his life.

Education and professional career

Mosquera studied audio engineering at SAE Institute. Alongside his music and creative projects, his professional career has included work with Apple, Tesla, Macquarie and ASX.

Music career

In his early music career, Intalekz worked alongside his friend and live DJ Hatch, formerly known as Pop the Hatch. The friendship forms part of the creative foundations behind his recording and performance work.[12]

The catalogue brings together releases from different periods of Intalekz’s work, with artwork and listening links collected on the official Collection page. The early titles Square-1, Sold My Soul, Space Man and Sonic Warfare are followed by I Am Intalekz, Out Of Office, Back 2 Work, Auto-Reply, First Draft and Free Agent.

Released on 11 November 2011, Space Man was produced by Intalekz, co-produced by Patrick “Off Tap” Russo, and mastered by Andrew Edgson at Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia. [14] Edgson also mastered Intalekz’s single Ready for Take Off (R4TO).[15]

His music has accumulated nearly one million lifetime streams, as reflected in TuneCore.

In December 2024, Intalekz secured Australian trade mark registration for his artist name.

Freestyles and digital reach

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Intalekz released a series of freestyles. In 2023, he established a Twitter account and brought a new run of performance-led tracks to the platform.

The high-volume promotional campaign generated 24 million impressions across 13 freestyle tracks, with individual videos reaching between 500,000 and one million views. The account was later suspended for spam.

Video production and AI-assisted cinema

Between 2015 and 2017, Intalekz worked on video production with Cerne Studios.

His AI-assisted project work began in 2023. His evolving toolkit now includes ChatGPT, Grok, Suno, Kling, Dreamina, Higgsfield, Meshy, Codex, Claude and OpenClaw. In 2025, he began working with Sora, marking a shift into AI-assisted cinematic storytelling.

From 5 February to 5 August 2026, Intalekz released 130+ AI cinematics, generating more than 100,000 Instagram views during that period.

Cinematic universe and Lekz Jump

The Intalekz cinematic universe expands his work into a fictional world of recurring characters, interconnected missions and cinematic stories. The Universe page introduces its cast and connects viewers to Personnel Issues Season 1.

Lekz Jump is an iOS game in development since 2026, built using Codex, Xcode and Grok Imagine. Set amid portals, colliding worlds and an unlikely team searching for a way home, it gives the wider cast a playful new setting while retaining their individual identities. Version 1 is planned for release in 2027.

Kev Hannibal, a long-standing friend of Intalekz through hip-hop, is planned for a future version of Lekz Jump. Character development is underway, with three skins already developed.[13]

By day, I keep the corporate world from crashing. By night, I’m a super-spy rap star, pulling my crew out of world-ending chaos. Whether I started it is classified.

Live performance

His early live career includes support performances for T-Pain, Lupe Fiasco and Twista, an appearance at Supafest, and a Sydney Kings halftime show in 2007.

In May 2009, Intalekz appeared at MTV’s The Lair, hosted by Ruby Rose, on a night that also featured Snob Scrilla. He also attended the first Australian Urban Music Awards, arriving with Snake Charmer Choppers.

His live history also includes an iTunes live performance at the Apple Store in Sydney in 2017. In November 2018, he performed at Nicholas Moore’s farewell at Macquarie Group.

Selected collaborations

Intalekz’s recorded work includes collaborations with Mr Mez, Noble Taylor, Henry Skillz, Nate Wade and Mistah Guerrero. Mr Mez contributed a verse to Square-1, while All Night pairs Intalekz with Noble Taylor over production by Beat Busta.[2][3]

On the 2021 release Back 2 Work, Nate Wade appears on Good Times and Mistah Guerrero on Superhero. Henry Skillz’s 2022 track Love features Intalekz, with its published credits identifying Mosquera’s vocal recording.[1][4]

Intalekz delivers the final verse in Episode 1 of Sydney vs Everybody, a collaboration assembled by Zig Parker of Green Room Syd featuring underground Australian rappers.[10][11]
